Recently, Lionel Messi's first son attracted attention again for being the author of one of his team's goals.
In the opening match of this year's MLS Next League season, Inter Miami crushed Orlando City Youth SC 10-1, with Thiago contributing to his team's goal.
A video clip shows Thiago receiving the ball, handling it neatly before unleashing a powerful right-footed shot that beats the goalkeeper. The boy, who will turn 12 on November 2, continues to make headlines at the U13 level, where he shares a squad with Benjamín Suárez, the son of Luis Suarez - Lionel Messi's close teammate who recently retired from the Uruguay national team.

What's curious about all of this is that some time ago, the captain of the Argentina national team confessed that his eldest son had no interest in football in his early years: " I didn't buy him a ball. Thiago didn't like football very much , " Messi affirmed.

Messi is getting closer to returning to the pitch
Barring any concerns, Lionel Messi will be back on the pitch next Saturday, September 14, when Inter Miami face Philadelphia at Chase Stadium for a new round of Major League Soccer action.
